Got another question....I have a main form and a search form that opens using a cmd button. When I created the database the form opened on top of the data entry form, since I added code to hide(minimize) the Access workspace/window the search form opens behind the data entry form...what can I do to make it always open on top?

You can set the Pop-Up and / or Dialog properties to Yes.

Have you tried adding code to SetFocus in the form when it's opened?

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

How are ya Mindy343 . . .

. . . or when you open the form use:
Code:
[blue]DoCmd.OpenForm "[purple][b][i]SearchFormName[/i][/b][/purple]", , , , , acDialog[/blue]
