Forgot logon password

I forgot my password to logon to my pc. The only profile is myself, no guest so I can not get into my pc unless I have the password. Is there a way to skip the login screen, XP has all these new security features. Until then I am unable to use my pc...unless I somehow remember the password.

As long as you didn't password protect the administrator account, just boot into safe
mode and reset the password from there.

Or you can try pressing crt + alt+ del a couple of times and it may bring you to different logon screen. Type in administrator and click ok and you may be able to enter and change the password of the account that you forgot.
