Forest Root Domain

Hi,

I would like to know if it possible to build a Root Forest Domain using Two Servers at two different locations? Having one Root Forest Server at location A and having another Root Forest Server at location B to makeup one Root Forest using the same Domain Name? If so what are the pros and cons of this?

There can only be one Forest Root.
