Hey Guys!

Got this message appear on our server after the network being very slow and crashing!

'Foreign configuration(s) found on adapter
Press any key to continue, or C to load the configuration utility.

Some configured disks have been removed from your system, or are no longer accessible.
Please check your cables and ensure all disks are present.
Press any key to continue, or C to load configuration utility.

Server: Dell PowerEdge 2900
Drives: 3x 300gb 15k SAS Drives - RAID 5

When going into the utility, Drive 1 and 3 are showing as missing and drive 2 is online.
However the drives at the front of the server are lit up.
1 flashing orange and other 2 are solid green!

Your advice and help is much appreciated and needed....

If two drives of a three drive RAID-5 are in missing status then OMSA should see the array as failed. Is that the case?
It should be OK to import the foreign config as it's still the original disks. The array then returns to degraded. Replacing the orange flashing disk will get it back to optimal and rebuild the array.
