Forecast components

Hello,
We are using macola ES, I'm putting in forecast for the parent items, with consume forecast set to G. I'm hoping that the forecast blows through the bill of material and based on that automatically creates forecast for the components, All the components have Master schedule turned on, with consume forecast set to G. I merge the master schedule as well. Any inputs on what I could be doing wrong ?
