I am trying to create a Frontpage website that I want to insert Sharepoint web parts in. Whenever I try to place the web parts within my layers, they expand to their maximum height and width and throw my web design out of whack - for example, an Event list's Calendar view is grossly oversized, and I can't put it into a compact calendar that fits into a 300 x 150 pixel box.
When I try to place a web part zone inside my layers, it just goes to the top of the page and not where I want it to go - and I can't click and drag the web part zones to the layers that I want.
How can I manipulate web parts and web part zones to the exact pixel sizes (width and height) that I want and how can I deliberately place them where I want them to go on this page?
And another thing - how do I implement good themes in my Frontpage site that are not the generic site themes that come with the Office suite? My boss wants the generic Sharepoint site to be improved: she said that it
GOD is in charge, though men may say, "Not so!
