I want to use my switch (Cisco 3560) to send all web traffic to our proxy server... the switch has routing capability, is there a way I can use policy based routing or something like that to accomplish this?? I'm not sure how to set that up...
Thanks!

There are many ways this can be done but the answer is very much dependant on your network and how it is designed. Generally with normal destination based routing any traffic for which the router has no specific routing entry, the traffic will forward based on a default route. That default route is a catch all for IP prefixes where the router has no route. This is something you will have to configure manually. You can point that default route to your firewall or proxy server. Of course you could use policy based routing as well , but it is a little mroe complicated and has it's issues as well. Policy based routing essentially allows you to forward traffic based on something other than the destination IP address.

Not sure why you would use the switch to accomplish this? Most web browsers have the ability to configure a proxy server and will direct all traffic there. You can even create a file that conditionally uses or doesn't use proxy settings depending on the network IP address (generally obtained from DHCP) for lap top users so that they get the proxy settings while in the office and not when on the road.
