Forcing user to logoff after inactivity

I have read and configured the winexit.scr to logoff following

I am trying to use this on a locked down workstation that will be shared by other users. The error error encountered while creating registry key. make sure you have set value and created subkey permissions. Until you click Ok to that the logoff timer never starts and the user remains logged on.

I am trying to use Regmon to find the key but I'm not sure which key is holding the settings. Does anyone have a suggestion?

My goal is to just use a GPO to set this up for all meeting room computers. The GPO works but the same error with the registry appears.
