Hi all,

I have a report that is made up of a "container" and 6 sub reports. The 6 sub reports are contained in report footers on the "container" report as follows :

Footer 1 Sub Report 1
Footer 2 Sub Report 2
Footer 3 Sub Report 3
Footer 4 Sub Report 4
Footer 5 Sub Report 5
Footer 6 Sub Report 6

Footers 1-5 all print on the first page of the report. My problem is that because footer 6 is too big to print in the available space left on page 1, a new page is started.

I would like footer 6 to start to print on page 1, then continue onto page 2. The report looks bad at the moment as there is a large amount of white space at the bottom of page 1.

Any ideas ?

You could try selecting subreport 6, and then go to format subreport->common and uncheck "keep object together." You might also need to go into the subreport and uncheck "keep together" in Format Section and also in Report->Change Group Expert->Options->Keep group together.

Not sure this will work, but it's probably worth a try.

None of these suggestions worked - the last one didn't apply anyway as there are no groups.

Thanks anyway.

Another other ideas anyone ?

there is another "Keep Together" in the Section expert...make sure that is unchecked

If this is a report with the subreports in several subsections of a section...make sure the overall section "Keep together" is not set since I think this would override the subsections
