Hi,
Trying to manually force a printer into dns, as I have no access to our dns server, although I do know thier ip address. Is there a way from a command prompt of registering a printer with DNS server.

No, unless the DNS server is coordinating with a DHCP server to dynamically update DNS. In that case, the DHCP server would update DNS for you, though it's typically not a good idea to have printers using DHCP.

Look at the network configuration page of your printer. Some newer printers support DDNS.

Hi,Trying to manually force a printer into dns,
What exactly are you trying to do? If you want to print using tcp/ip, you want to have dhcp hand out a reserved ip, or use a static ip. Just need a little more info.
