Forcing Link to open in same browser window

Hi~
I have a pdf that is being viewed in the web browser that also has links in it to other pdfs (on another domain). When a link is clicked, a new window is opened. Is there a way to force it to just use the same browser window instead of opening a new one? Thanks!
