Forcing Apache to be HTTP/1.0

Does anyone know how I can force Apache to run as a HTTP/1.0
Web server for all clients? I've tried setting the
environment variable force-response-1.0 like this:

SetEnv force-response-1.0

It doesn't seem to be working...

Any ideas?

I think you will find that apache is HTTP/1.1 compliant already as is.

simple reading from

http://www.apache.org

in the FAQ tells you this or

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html

Is there something specific in your setup you need apache to do
that its not already?
