forcing an ESC execution

Ok, I'm sure this is the wrong forum but didn't know where else to post - please recommend if appropriate.

I'm executing a batch file, I think. It's actually an fdisk.scr file that I'm trying to use to automate changing active partitions. I've entered the appropriate key strokes so that fdisk executes and changes the partition but I can't seem to figure out how to script the 3 consequential "ESC" key strokes that are required for the changes to take effect. Any hel pwould be GREATLY appreciated!
