Forced Save As Screen when redacting?

When I redact a document and then push save, it forces a save as screen. This means that each time I find something to redact and hit save, I have to save another copy. On long documents, I can have up to twenty or more copies. Does anyone know what setting I may have wrong or is this a glitch in the software. I also noticed that if I redact documents in a pdf package and hit save, it saves just fine and does not force the save as screen.

Any help would be great!
