Can I program a single line set to Force An Account Code Entry? This set is a single line that when you pick up the dandset you normally her intercom dial tone and press 9 to dial out. I want this set to be foreced to enter an account code prior to being able to dial outside.

I know how to do this on an 18d but not a single line set.

Forced Account Code applies ONLY to system telephones. (pg. 4-33 in the manual)

You could LOCK and UNLOCK a S/L extension, but you must remember to relock it after the call. Be sure to put 911 in the emergency list.

I guess my other option is to allow the LD company to provide an account code entry upon dialing the number. All calls will be LD. The LD company can keep track of it probably better than the Partner since all the call detail will include cost for each Agent or Acnt. Code.

The agents in this center will not fake their acnt. code since their revenue is tied in with the number of call they make.

If I can activate some features with a SL set by dialing # then the function code why can I not activate the Forced Acnt. Code feature number?

RTFM! Never ask "why", ask "how" - or you'll go nuts trying to figure out someone else's logic!

particularly the logic behind some of the partner features (or lack of )
