Forced Account Codes

Does anyone know how to setup Forced Account Codes on a BCM 3.7? We have a BCM 400 3.7 with Tappit call accounting software. The custoomer is able to use the account codes using F900 but now wants to force certain users to enter the account code before the call is made.
 
What agent are you referring to and what prompt should I be looking for?
 
The parameter is on the call pilot under call center-----agent list.

Click change beside the agent.

At the bottom of the agent you will see a drop down menu with activity entry code type.

Change this to prompted.

You will need to set it for the users (agents) you want to be forced to input the activity codes.

This customer is not using ACD and there are no agents programmed in the system.
 
I've not used it in a BCM - but on a norstar

The 3rd party controls (verifies) the forced account codes
It will be a module of TAPIT (assuming they have it)

 
In order to perform proper forced/verified account codes, with prompting before dialing or using a login feature, you should look at RSI.


Their tools CTI Pack does everything you asked for.
