Hi I have designed a database in Access '97 but I have a problem in that although we're in Ireland the machines came with an image that defaults to the US date format (mm/dd) but some users have changed the regional settings over to the Irish way (dd/mm). Of course this means that when I use the month() function it causes erratic behaviour eg. retrieving one days worth of records instead of one months, etc. Is there a way to force Access 97 to treat all dates as US Format regardless of the region settings on the client?
Cheers for any help you can provide

Not exactly.
But if you "MAY" be able convert the date before you use it in your function like so:

=Month(format(IrishDate,"mm/dd/yy"))
