Hi Guys,

I want to make the clients (Windows XP) shutdown at a certain time and do not want to allow logon to the domain for a certain time. I have put up the logon hours for the user. But how do I force the clients to shutdown at a certain time ?

I will try it out. But I wanted to know if it is possible with GPO's too ?

No i'm afraid not, MS provide a resource kit util called Shutdown.exe but it's not as good as Psshutdown and it doesn't intergrate with GPO's.

Psshutdown is easy to schedule with a bat file and Windows task schedular tho.

I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out - Bill Hicks
