Force Schema Master

I have transfer all the roles of our dc to other server, but I did forgot about the Schema Master role, and the other server was formated and is offline now. How can I transfer the schema role to the new DC with the other offline? have tried using ntdsutil and with the add snap in, but it gives a error saying it does not find the old DC.
How can I solve this?
