force LSP to re-register

Hi all!

Anybody has a procedure to force the G700 LSP to re-register after a broken link to the main site? (main site is G700 S8300 also)

Log on to the LSP and reset media-gateway xx level 2
that should do it for ya.

Objective is to not reset the MG. Reset the LSP and the MG will detect the lost link and retry the primary. Log into the LSP and reset sys 4.

Thanks a lot guys, I tried a reset sys 2 and it was enough.
Anybody has a documentation about a detailed reset levels? (what kind of services effected, etc.)

Go to the Avaya support page and do a search on document number 03-300192, and then search for the word reset and that should explain all the resets.
