I have a Merlin Legend system and would like to know how I can drop a call "gracefully" so theat there is no loud noises on the receiving end. When I hang up the phone (i.e. calling over our paging system) there is a loud sound made by my receiver. The drop button on the MLX phone does not seem to do this (not really sure what this button is for other than dropping a conference call). I have MLX and 4400 series phones. Any ideas?
