Force date with no data onto report

I have a report which allows the user to choose a month and then displays a single metric, by day, for that month. Unfortunately, if there is no data for a particular day, then this day does not appear on the report. How can I force all days for the month to appear?

in Report Data Options, Calculations, change the Attibute Join Type for "Time" to an outer join. change the Preservation setting to the final option ("w/filter&quot

you may also want to indicate to the user that data does not exist for that day, so in Report Data Options, Display, Null Values change the values to display something appropriate.
