I have a matrix report that has columns that, for now, have no data, but i need them to appear when the report is ran. Is there any way to force this? I saw a thread (thread1462-1411556) where someone was asking the exact question but I'm unaware as to whether or not he found a solution.

Thanks for the help.

I would give the exact same reply I gave in that thread. Matrix controls will not display nulls. To force the display, you will need to force 0s into your data set. Depending on how your data is queried, you may well need to use an ISNULL test along with either an outer join or a cross join

Basically, you need the data to be there - a matrix control will not show data that is not in the dataset behond it

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
