Force change in CD user's monitor resolution

I have created a Flash/HTML based presentation for a CD brochure. It looks best at 1024x768. Clearly many users use different resolutions. Is there a command I can use in Flash that will change the user's resolution and then, when the Quit command is given, revert the screen to its normal resolution?

I know it can be done - my kids play a game that does this.

i don't know how to do that but you can make the film unscalable so that it is always 1024x768 via an
fscommand("allowscale","false"
or you set it to fullscreen via fscommand("fullscreen","true"

i guess that is not quite the thing you wanted but maybe it helps anyway regards

It may be possible to do this in IE with JScript using Windows Scripting Host. It may not always work, however, because it is often disabled as a security precaution.
