I had CE 9 installed on XP, tried to do an upgrade to CE 10 which failed. Now when I try to install CE 10 after un-installing CE 9, it still tried to do an upgrade install. Is there a way to force a full CE 10 install so that it overwrites everything?

Thanks!

I'd take a run through the C-drive and the Registry and make sure that nothing is still set to CE-10.

Hi,
I agree..most uninstall programs are unlikely to remove all registry settings for the app they are removing..I suppose it is a safety issue, since many apps may be sharing some entries ( Crystal has several entries, ( under various names) depending on what product(s) are installed.)

Also, remove the all of the directory structures that were created.

Thank you both for the replies. I un-installed CE9 again, re-installed, then was able to upgrade to 10.

Thanks again
