Hi,
I am trying to force an ATA to be in VLAN10. I read through the instructions about changing the opflags and the VLANSetting. When I changed it in the web interface, I lost connection and am not able to get an IP address. (Most likely because I entered the wrong values.

Does anybody know the exact things that need to be changed and the values for this? I normally just have DHCP to yes, TFTP value etc and works like a charm. What am I missing?

Thanks

Well if its newer ATA code, it will read the 'switchport voice vlan' command and use that parameter.

or just set the port that the ATA is installed on into VLAN10

Is there a way though to force it on the actual ATA? I have done the ways you suggested. I would like to do it on the actual ATA.

Thanks

yes..

but do i remember them.. no LOL

you'll have to search around on CCO for it, but there is a certain hex parameter you need to program to do it..

That is what I did... with no luck of it working. I have been researching for the past few days. I finally tried it and no IP address. :( Thanks

Thanks BuckWeet. I figured it out. I had looked at all the docs and they had an example with VLAN115. Had to put 10 into binary 32 bit and convert to Hex, back to decimal if using the IVR or can put hex in the web interface.

Thanks for the help!
