Hi Reghakr,
Many thanks for your advice, unfortunately I am still experiencing the same page fault warning:
>EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
>module SHELL32.DLL etc...
I checked my version of shell32.dll (running Wn98SE with IE6) as you suggested and it was the same as yours - 4.72.3612.1700
I found the hidden ShellIconCache file from the Windows folder and I moved it to my Recycle Bin. I then rebooted and tried right-clicking on my hard-drive icon in My Computer but I am still experiencing the same problem.
Could the fact that I removed/moved the ShellIconCache file to my Recycle Bin rather than deleteing it completely be significant? I wasn't quite sure what you meant when you told me to "remove" the ShellIconCache file from my Windows folder? Do you have any further suggestions? I can still access right-click functions on individual files such as Word documents etc...I just cannot right-click on my hard/floppy/CD drive icons ?????
Regards,
Fla.
