Hi Guys,

Just fixed an issue which has been bugging the hell out of us for weeks.

In CCV, there is a feature which allows you to change the state of an agent. It allows you to force login and logout, as well as force to Busy WU or Busy NA.

On a V3 IPO with V5 CCC, the force logoff does not work if you have a password on the user's extension. This is not to be confused with the login code - agents should have a login code and force login selected in their telephony tab in Manager. However, if their User is setup with a password, which is used by Phone Manager, the force logoff feature will not work.

Avaya Tier 4 have been helping with this and tell me a fix will be available in the November release of CCC V5.

Hope this helps some of you.

have you tried the latest release of cccv5(17),just released in august?
solved alot of problems on v3(40) now running 3(59)with above ccc s/w and now all seems fine.

Yes, tried the latest release. We're OK without passwords until November.

Luckily their VoIP WAN throughout the UK does not go live until then anyway. When that's live, they'll need Phone Manager passwords so people don't 'play' with each other's Phone Manager!!

Avaya have said it's in the November build.
