for excel automation

Hello,

In the samples given on microsoft support (Q178749: HOWTO Create automation project using MFC and a type library) we have to select Microsoft Excel 8.0 Object Library if we use excel automation. But what could i do if i have office XP on my workstation?

Judging by the work I've done in VBA, you don't need to worry too much. The Excel objects haven't really changed, and the code should be pretty much the same (unless you're using smart-tags or something). Office 2000 Macros I developed at work function just fine when I use them at home on Office XP. Just choose Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library and code as illustrated.
