Hi,
I have a query in WebI with Client Id, DOB, Plan date and Plan Value.

A single client Id can have multiple Plans against it.
I have taken the Min (Plan Date) so that I will have only the earliest plan of the client in the report and it works fine, but when I drag the Plan value object into the report, it shows all the plan dates with the corresponding Plan values against them. How do I restrict the query to the earliest plan of the client with the plan value for that plan againts it.

Weirdly enough, if I use Min(Plan Value) it works, but it shouldn't be, right?

I don't have access to the universe, so whatever needs to be done should be at the report level.

Can anyone help??

Thanks,Hari...

Go to report->selection formula->GROUP and enter:

{table.plandate} = minimum({table.plandate},{table.client})

...assuming you have a group on client.
