Does I-Server look at an AS400 library as comparable to a database or a schema? I need to know if it is possible to use files from 2 different libraries in one MSTR project.

Thanks!

It's been a while since I worked on 400 machines, so my memory is kinda mixed up. In MicroStrategy, you can mess with the catalog SQL so it would be able to pull the table name and column names. In terms of library /schema /database support, as long as you can reference it with a prefix, you are okay to go.

In the warehouse catalog - read settings,,, Here is my SQL:

SELECT DISTINCT SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA NAME_SPACE, TABLE_NAME TAB_NAME FROM QSYS2.SYSCOLUMNS WHERE TABLE_OWNER = 'QPGMR' AND SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA = 'RPLDATA'

I have another library/schema that this works for with the other schema name instead of RPLDATA. It won't work for this one...???

Double check your security permissions with the user that MicroStrategy uses to connect to the database. Perhaps that user can see the one schema but not the other.
