For 6000 KC a year, how many EDI documents would that be? 1

Hi,

Some companies charge with KC (kilo-characters); how do they measure that? Is it by the size of the file that is transmitted to you? If they give you a max of 6000 KC a year, is that enough? How many documents would that be?

They usually measure the size of files they send/receive to/from your trading partners.

To convert the #KCs into #Messages, it really depends on the size of the messages... ;-)

Just for example, if we are talking of long detailed invoices of 100 KC, then 6000 KC = 60 invoices!
