fopen() question

1) can i make a hidden .txt file using fopen? or is it always given the propety visible

2) i want to open a .txt file and read 1 line at a time, what function do i use to read 1 line at a time?

1) "hidden" attributes depend on the filesystem/operating system. you'll have to find another route to do this, fopen cannot. Using Windows API, SetFileAttributes can do this.

2)To read in a .txt file line by line, use fgets
