footer overlapping 2

Ok so I am almost done with the layout, 3 minor issues, 1 i might be able to live with.

1. if you resize the browser shorter (IE and Firefox)the footer starts to overlap all the content.
2. if you resize the browser narrower then in IE the scroll bar come below the footer.
3. if you resize the browser narrower, you will see this one in firefox, and scroll to the right the bar on the left doesnt move and the background scrolls off and it becomes white.

I can probably live with #3, but I would love to fix all these. the footer has been killing me for a couple days now.

think i solved all these issues. I used the following link

in case anyone else has these problems.

Oh and I had to hack the code quite a bit but its pretty simple and straight forward.
