The page is
It's not that complicated - a list of PDF files in a table. In IE6, the footer displays to the right of the center of the table - almost like it's floated or something. FF1.5 correctly displays the footer at the bottom.

I can't see any missing trailing tags or quotes. The page validates XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

BTW, if you view source you see 3 blank lines before the doctype - that's where 3 SSI variables are defined to customize the page. I tried uploading the served HTML directly, removing the 3 blank lines - no difference.

Any idea why IE6 doesn't display the footer at the bottom?

Thanks for your help.

It's the [tt]align="left"[/tt] on your table. That means floating the table and IE tries to position div next to the floated item rather than below it. I found no use for that attribute, so I believe you can safely remove it.

Bingo!

Thanks - I never would have figured that one out!
