Hello everyone,
I have a report with a few tables at the top, and then under them five text boxes (stacked vertically) which have can grow propery set to "yes". These five text boxes hold long sets of notes that can be any length. Sometimes all fit on one page. Sometime there may be, say, three and a half notes on one page and one and a half on the other (e.g., the fourth note is started on page 1 and finished on page 2). All this is fine. At the bottom of the page is a footer with a few labels on it; the footer is a couple inches tall.
The problem is that if by chance one of the notes ends at the end of page 1, the next note will start on page 1 when there isn't space for it, and part of the first line (of the new note) will be covered up by the footer (leaving you only able to see the tops of the letters of the first line). The rest of the note will then continue on the next page. Again this only happens when a note ends at the very end of the page and another one begins on the same page. What I would want of course, is for the next note not to start if there is not room for the first line to be displayed on the first page. I do not understand why the footer would cover up part of the line of a note.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Collen
