Fooling Insight Manager ?

I want to setup a server(not Compaq) to be able to use Compaq Insight Manager. Is there any way to fool Insight Manager into thinking my server is a Compaq? All help greatful.

Check out the latest enterprise solutions which are suppose to work with any machine that is API compliant ans supports WMI functuions.

Better yet, if you are using CIM7 just get the MIB (Or write your own if you are good) Import the MIB into CIM7 and he'll be just fine with monitoring that equipment for you.
