fontsize for printout

I am using SCO UNIX Openserver 5.0.5. I am encountering the need to do some landscape printing. This was easy.

I will predominantly be printing to A Hewlett Packard Laserjet 4 printer

lp -o "land" -d hp filename

i need to make the fontsize smaller as well, so that I can fit more info on each page. I'm not being so successfull on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried lp -o "land,cpi=elite" -d hp filename

and this didn't work. got an illegal option error (or something like that)
