Fonts not listed in Word

On all NT machines, we are having problems getting fonts to be displayed in the dropdown within Word. They are listed in the font folder, and we have given "Everyone" permissions to them (also tried giving individual permission, and making them the owner).
Additionally... fonts are listed in registry, but when Word is loaded, the fonts are not listed in the System Information (Help>About>then the system information tab).

I had this problem before. My problem was printer settings. We had machines set up with a "print to file" printer that did not support all the fonts. You might want to check out the default printer and see if that is causing the problem.

You got me started in the right direction. The problem was the printer driver installed. Thanks for the nudge!
