Hi,
I am having a minor problem with users viewing reports through EPortfolio.

On some machines the report layout is all over the place (as if the line length is less). However on other machines, including the one with Report Designer it looks OK.

I think that it has something to do with the Windows NT/Display Properties. Here you can choose Large Fonts or Small Fonts. With Large Fonts the report is all over the palce. With Small Fonts it is not. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can get around this as have 1,500 machines with varying settings.

Which viewer are you using?

Try the Active-X or Java viewer, they give a consistent look and feel.

Hi,
we are stuck with the DHTML viewer at the moment as it does not install anything on the machines. ActiveX viewer was deemed to be too much of a security risk also.

Have you experienced any side-effects of using Java viewers eg conflicts ?

Not with fully W3C compliant browsers ( Have used it with IE 5.5 and 6 and Netscape 7 without issues)
