font size of htmltext loaded in dynamic textfield 1

Hi,

I want to load an external htmltext in a dynamic textfield in flash MX.
In both the properties of the textfield and the htmltags of the external text I have set the fontheight to 11 pixels.

I want the textfield to cover my entire window so I changed the heigth of the textfield to 400 pixels. But suddenly the size of the text also has become much bigger so only one big word of the entire text is visible in the textfield.

Is it possible to change the size of my dynamic textfield without affecting the size of the text loaded into the textfield?

have you got the dynamic text field set to single line instead of multiline? If so this may explain why changing the height of the field also changed the height of the text inside. check and see i may be wrong its a complete guess and i havent checked it.

If you select the textbox on the stage and resize it it will resize the text in it too.

If you select it then double click you trigger the text tool (the text box will go white with a black border) - if you drag the resizing handle on the right side of the box you camn then resize it to cover the stage but the text will stay at 11 points. Slainte
