I'm opening a .fh9 file from Freehand in a PC machine.
This files was saved with a Mac machine.
When opening I get an error that it don't recognize "Helvetica Cond" font but it's installed.
I have test it having the true type font, the postcript font and never works.
Do you have any idea what's hapenning?
Thank you,

Mac fonts have a "menu name" that seems (to me) to be incompatible with PC fonts. I had this problem too... I never got it to work right. There are probably 100 versions of Helvetica Condensed out there.

Maybe make a "transfer" file by uninstalling all Helveticas, then open the file. When the PC prompts you to replace fonts, use another font with all the weights you need (univers for instance). Once you get through that, save the doc as a temp file and close. Then remove univers and reinstall helvetica. Reopen the temp document and re-replace the missing univers fonts with the appropriate helvetica weights.

Just a guess -- hope it helps.
