font problem when opening images

hi,

I have an A4 doc which is going to print.

Every time I open it i get the following.

Some text layers might need to be updated before they can be used for vector based output. Do you want to update these now?

I have clicked update but I save it off and same again.

I have clicked no to fix them manualy and on a mouse over the warning triangle I get this.

Font is present on system but requires a layout change.

I do this and save but on opening the same thing comes up again.

Any ideas???

I think u broke it again!
re-install the fonts in question or/and re-install the PS after the fonts!
...if the fonts are from some funny free D/L website I wouldn't be suprised if they never work properly.Many fonts outthere are designed in a rush and for a looks only...unfortunately those "bad" fonts are installed in a system folder itself and can cause some apps to behaive weird...much like PS is doing to you.

eh! Just a Windows font that every computer on this planet has. I doubt its the font that is causing this problem.

sometime you just gotta say "WHAT THE @#*% !!"

Edit--Preferences--general---[x] Auto-update open document
perhaps.....
and yes Arial should work without ANY problems...IF not then I assume something went wrong with an install of PS....if on Windoz then make sure u install it with Admin rights

while ur at it u might "Reset All Wrning Dialogs" on the General tab
