All of the sudden I cannot use the Font "Paragon" in Corel Draw 7 documents. I have removed and reinstalled the Font and removed and reinstalled Corel Draw. When I use this Font the characters stack on top of each other, as if the cursor does not move forward. All other Fonts I have checked work OK. Any thoughts on this problem.

Have you checked to see if that same font works in another program, such as a word processor? If it doesn't, the problem is with the font itself, not Corel. If that's the case, try deleting the file from the font folder on your hard disk and copying it back (drag & drop style)from the original source (floppy, CD, internet, whatever). You may have to reboot. When you merely uninstall then re-install a font, the system uses the same font file on the hard disk, so you'd just be reinstalling the same corrupted version.
I had a similar problem with my Mistral font, and this worked for me...

I have only ever used CorelDRAW 9 and 10, so I'm going by what I know of those versions...
Are you trying to create "artistic text" or "paragraph text"? And what kind of fill or other f/x are you applying (if any)?

Word Pad is not a good test of a font, do you have anything like Pagemaker or InDesign? Word and Word Pad seem to handle corrupt fonts quite easily (one thing in these app's favor, I suppose) but graphical and DTP programs will show their deficiencies. Use Windows Control Panel>Fonts to uninstall and install fonts correctly. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
