font problem: apple to windows via acrobat

Hi,
I have a problem with a document created in Quark and saved as a .pdf in Acrobat, all on an Apple computer. The ultimate customer wants Word templates made of the document. How can I get the text into a Word doc without the fonts changing.

I don't think you can unless you've used open type fonts, which are cross-platform. But true type and Type 1 are not cross-platform. You will have to substitute the fonts you used in the original document with the closest PC-based fonts.
