Font line-break problem...

I'm trying to design a page using arial/helvetica font with a font size of 1. Every few lines, a mysterious extra line-break is being put in the page, even though no such thing is in my HTML. Fooling around with <P> tags and <BR>s does nothing more than move it around to a different place, and different browsers placxe it in different places. Mozilla actually gets it right, but it's an IE world so that does me zero good.

You may have some junk text formatting that is screwing up everything - - if the text was copied from another document.

Do you have an example page or some of the HTML to show?

Unfortunately, the text is for a pretty confidential site, but anyways, I can guarantee that no junk text is being carried over. Here is what it looks like sans the exact text:

<font face=&quot;Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif&quot; size=&quot;1&quot;>blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah</font>

But it prints as something like:
&quot;blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

blah blah blah blah blah&quot;

This is actually a problem I've had before (and never resolved) when viewing small fonts in IE.
