Font Licencing Issue

I am using a barcode font called USS39M, signed by an organisation called PageTech, and with a version date of 1995.

As soon as I attempt to direct the output to a PDF file, I find that its impossible to embed the font, because of apparent licencing limitations.

Does anyone know of a simple and economica barcode 39 font, which I can install on half a dozen workstations which will get me round this PDF licencing problem; Ideally, some shareware version of the font.

Thanks for your reply. I did not appreciate the 'Good grief' expletive at the beginning.

I did google fonts in parallel with raising this thread, and found what I wanted. Unfortunately, I also did this several years ago, and ended up unwittingly downloading a proprietry font from a so called shareware site. Hense I thought it might be prudent to raise the thread at the same time.

Whilst I appreciate the effort you've taken to answer the thread, you will find that annoying comments can easily be interpreted as arrogance.

Anyway mate, thanks for the response, and I hope this feedback will be taken in a positive light,
