Font issues when replying in Outlook 2002

I have a user that's using Outlook 2002 on an XP machine. Whenever she tries to reply to one specific persons emails the font is yellow therefore she can't see what she's tying because it blends in with the white background. I changed the font color and type to black and Ariel but the changes will not stay if she goes out of the email message and goes back in to either that message or another of this one person's email message. This only happens with this one persons email messages. Is there a setting I'm not seeing here?
