font issue 1

I currently am using illistrator 10 with os9, and i keep getting an error message that i need a font.

i do have the fonts, but i am fairly new to using mac and do not know how to add them. i dont even know where to start. can someone please reply to me in detail how to do this. im sure it is fairly easy, but im still in the windows world.

Ooh you have several places where fonts are gathered on macs, under the system folder is font folder, you can place them there and if you want Illustrator to acknowledge it you can place it also in the font folder in the adobe illustrator folder under your programs folder it also has a font folder there just for illustrator, if you're having no luck, spend a little with a font utility like font doctor or something like that to go over your computer for missing outlines to fonts and stuff, it will clean up your font issues.
