Hey all,

On the network, one computer can read a pdf just fine but another computer can't read it. Both should have the same version of Acrobat, which would be version 7.0.

If the problem is font related, how do I find out which fonts are causing the problem and how do I replace them?

Thanks.

...do you have the full version of acobat 7? If so there is a document properties option in the file menu, there you can see the fonts used within the document and whether they have been embedded or not...

...with the advanced touch up text tool, under the advance menu you can select text and change it to a system font installed on your computer...

...the better option is to get your hands on enfocus pitstop which can change entire documents using managed profiles...

...sorry forgot to mention, with the advanced touchup tool for text, select the text and right click, select properties and it can be changed and embedded...
